Knowth Megalithic Passage Tomb — Boyne Valley, Ireland

Knowth is part of the ancient Brú na Bóinne complex, a landscape aligned with celestial cycles and built to hold communal memory. Its passageways, decorated with megalithic art, speak to an early understanding of death, time, and cosmology. Visiting Knowth offered a perspective on how ancient cultures shaped land to express continuity with ancestors and the more-than-human world—principles that continue to inform my approach to designing spaces for remembrance.
